It is not a basic duvet or bedding insert, it is a light thin bedspread coverlet set, or just use it as a sheet, but covers well.The “quilting” effect is done with some sort of heat process that named “Ultrasonic quilting”. Fused together, Not stitching by thread.Very thin design bedspread, but you can use it over your duvet and so that the cat doesn’t spoil your bedding! Will be great for summer or as a duvet cover for mid-west winters.They vacuum pack, and it comes with two pillow shams. If you want the quilt bedspread reaches to the floor, then recommend to order the larger King size for double bed.The quilt is nice and light, and it may be piling after few months.The colour will not fade if washed at normal temperature, gentle cycle.
