Love looking in the mirror finish while in the kitchen!
This Russell Hobbs 20 Litre 800W Dark Steel Digital Microwave arrived in the most beautiful and secure package. The microwave came in a box which ensures that it gets delivered damage free.So the good thing is that itâs ready to use straight away because it comes assembled.A very useful tip is so use the microwave with a cover on the plate or bowl because it will keep the microwave fresh, clean and splatter free .Please note that the microwave is only a microwave and doesnât have an grill or oven function but I am happy because I donât use it anyway.So this microwave is one of the best ones I have used. I have been using Russel hobs kitchen appliances and microwaves since years. My previous microwave was similar however in colour red and smaller. One of the reasons I love Russel hobs microwaves is due to the mirror finish. I love that it gives me a mirror in the kitchen so I can have a look at myself.However a downside of the mirror finish is that the finger prints are very prominent and donât look good so regular cleaning is required or avoid touching the mirror.I use microwave daily and regularly but mostly just to warm up some milk. There are 8 different auto cook settings though such as defrost to cook meals straight from the freezer.I like that the size of the tray is big so larger plates fit well.The only downside is that its quite big and required space but itâs totally worth it and definitely worth the money too. Itâs actually budget friendly and priced well.Highly recommended , your life will become easier and will save time.

decent cooking power, missing a couple of features
This microwave is made by Russell Hobbs which is a very wlel known UK brand and I beleive still make all their kit in the UK.We have a few of their items in our kitchen and this microwave blends in seamlessly with its black outer case and mirror door finish. The unit itself is heavy which is good as it doesn’t slide around when putting things inside and the space inside, even though it’s only 20litres fits our large plates with ease.Super simple to use with either a quick press on start for 30 second increments or a turn to the left of the dial to then spin and set a time yourself.It has some presets but to be honest I never use these and just whack whater I have to cook straight in on full power.Clock was simple to set and the simple pull door open means less touching of the front which is good as the front panel is like a fingerprint magnet.I have dropped this one star because of a couple of little features some other microwvaes have aroudn this price, mostly the fact I cannot turn the clock off to save electricity, the strange orange light inside rather than white and the fact that once it finishes cooking it beeps 5 times then thats it, our old microwave woudl beep then beep once every minute until you opened the door to remind you it had finished.Overall good quality, cooks well, simple to use but a bit pricey at Â£100

Mirror Finish = Fingerprints
Most microwaveable foods have several temperature cooking options with 750W or 800W usually being the lowest and slowest, so this budget microwave ticks that box. It also has preset options but I personally never use those.It has a defrost function which is always handy for softening ice-cream in my house.Itâs simple enough to use and I was delighted when I saw a button that actually said clock on it. We suffer from quite a few power cuts where we live and Iâm forever having to reset clocks. On most microwaves you have to remember which button or dial doubles up as the clock set!It has a mirror finish which means Iâm frequently rubbing off fingerprints. For some reason my family always put their hands on the door rather than the handle to shut it!You can fit a dinner plate up to 26.5cm into it which I believe will be adequate for most people.
