The Bamboo used in our Organicook chopping boards had to be the best.

There is increasing concern over the environmental impact of using plastic as well as nasty chemicals entering our food from plastics. Due to this, we began looking for the most environmentally sound and healthy material for our chopping boards. We found Bamboo was by far the best material as it is so incredibly sustainable, re-growing 30 times faster than wood from trees. Our bamboo cutting board is also incredibly hard-wearing and will outlast alternatives. Our boards are made from Phyllostachys Bamboo, or, as the locals call it, “Mao” Bamboo. This variety is of better quality than the alternatives found in alternative chopping boards wood.
