Does this lampshade make the room dark when turned on?

The lampshade consists of a white inner diffuser drum which passes maximum light in a uniform manner, while the outer sheer layer allows maximum light to pass through emitting a beautiful glow, without making the room look dark.

Does this shade have a plastic chassis at the bottom or inside the lamoshade so you don’t see the bulb if you look up?

Although it does not have a chassis on the bottom. Nonetheless, due to the double layers of fabric, our lampshade creates a stunning, gentle glow when the bulb is lit, negating the necessity for an extra chassis.
