Pleasing addition to the kitchen
Good looking microwave that is slightly smaller than the Samsung it replaced but fits what we need inside. Easy to set up and use. Heats food evenly. Havenât tried all the functions yet. Original one we received developed a faulty door but was substituted with no quibble.

Looks great but doesn’t work
These microwaves by Swan absolutely look gorgeous but sadly do not work. The electronics are extremely cheap as is the general build quality. The side and top panels of the machine are extremely flimsy. The top of the microwave gets extremely hot as well.I bought my first one in January 2021. But the machine died on me by April 2021. Contacted Amazon and got a replacement sorted.Right away the replacement was better, the inside light actually worked, it was extremely dim on the first one we received and rather than taking 4 minutes to heat up a cup of milk it only took 2 minutes. So we were suddenly much happier we our machine.However it was not to be, the second machine broke on us as well now in September 2021. The light inside the machine already died on us and the machine started doing strange things as well like randomly beeping for no reason. We contacted Amazon again and they offered us refund instead as we had 2 defective units.We now have a Russell Hobbs microwave, it doesn’t look as nice but so far it functions a lot better. Also 800W but heats the same cup of milk in a minute and a half so yet again better heating performance. Build quality is better as well right out the box the entire device feels a lot more solid and the glass plate actually sits flat on the spinner rather than wobbly like on both Swan devices we had.

Okay at the moment….. time will tell, the first one lasted 14 months, stopped heating things up, I was hoping it was the high voltage diode cheap easy fix….but no goâ¹ï¸

“Hugely! Hugely, Impressed with this item”. The Company – Business, known as Swan I have purchased over the years & watched them steadily improving in both Quality & Design. Also reasonably affordable within the market place & longevity of their products equall to say the more expensive other brands of manufactures available to the Customer within the market place. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their goods whatsoever. “Outstanding & Very Stylish & easily ie Functional. Impressive & Well thought out Designs etc. (though I could of done without having to make such a purchase just b4 the New Year 2022. Holidays) : (: ) Now having the bread bin the Nordic Kettle & the Nordic Microwave this rreview pertains, relates to in my kitchen & I can honestly say I have not (as yet ?) had any problems with them.Priced… A Humble Reasonable! though if anything, though perhaps I shouldn’t say they are undervalued, priced. As I would of happily paid more for their items. Very Very Pleased indeed.Exceptional Without doubt, “Highly Recommended”!! from a fussy high standard customer ,& both Swan & Amazon have delivered.PS, sometimes if like me you look for, in your own opinion the best of a product you have to spend time searching on here for a considerable amount of time to eventually find Amazon’s some hidden gems!Thanks.

Poor value for money due to poor build in parts
Decent microwave functions (though 90% of them are not needed) but LED screen stopped working. This means that product is poor value for money considering there is little (if any) added quality for the money. I would opt for something else with a longer all around lifespan.

This purchase served as more of a decorative item kitchen accessory than a microwave and even then the words start were half rubbed off when in the box. Pretty to look at and soft to touch but not worth the dollar
