It is used for daily feeding of wild discus fish and other demanding fish species from wild catch. Thanks to their fine texture, the granules soften quickly in the water and are therefore eagerly eaten by wildly caught fish. They contain the following algae: Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis), Chlorella (Chlorella vulgaris) as well as Ascophyllum nodosum and Laminaria digitata, which are also referred to as kelp or seaweed. Unsaturated fatty acids, protein (rich in essential amino acids) and vitamins of spirulina and chlorella together with macronutrients and trace elements of kelp algae (including iodine, chromium, selenium and iron) ensure the fish excellent condition, intensive growth and vitality. The large proportion of ingredients of plant origin, including algae and fruit, resembles the food of wild discus fish in their natural environment. Regular feeding with Tropical Discus Gran Wild provides your fish with high-dose chlorophyll – a green pigment of spirulina and chlorella, which are a concentrated source of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll inhibits the development of unwanted bacteria in the digestive tract and thus prevents infections. Together with zeolite, it promotes the elimination of toxins. Active substances of garlic and spirulina strengthen the immune system of the fish and help them fight pathogens. Carotenoids, including krill and red pepper, as well as the addition of astaxanthin preserve the natural colouring of the fish and prevent their fading. Due to its strengthening properties, this food is recommended for fish in a quarantine or recovery phase, as well as for fish that get used to new living conditions.
