Bathrooms: 3-5 reed sticks Bedrooms: 6-9 reed sticks Living rooms: 10-12 reed sticks or even more 2. Place the reeds into the your diffuser bottle to absorb the diffuser oil. 3. Flip sticks so that the “dry” side of the sticks is now submerged in the oil. 4. Decide where to put the diffuser. Air movement from outside or movement inside helps to circulate the aroma, creating a better “throw” of fragrance. 5. Let your diffuser naturally scent your space, and give the reeds a few days to fully saturate. Reed diffusers will continue to evaporate into the air, creating a subtle and luxurious scent. 6. Flip over the reeds when you feel the scent could be stronger. Once they permanently stop we recommend changing them, or when you change the oil.
