Very good microwave
First time I have bought a Sharp model for anything electric gand very pleased. Even though its one of the cheapest it has some handy features. The defrost settings actually work, there is a one press button that turns it on for one minute and the heating dinner plates button saves me using the oven to warm up the plates. Ignore the complaint about the amount of water generated Its because its more efficient Highly recommended

Excellent Microwave
Great microwave. Smaller than my last one but ideal as just need it for warming up standard plates of food and it does the job perfectly. It DOES have a clock contrary to what some reviewers have said. And while pressing the start button does increase time in one minute intervals, it is very easy to just press power once and then the minute or ten second buttons to get the exact amount time you want. It shifts a bit on the counter when I press the door button but otherwise is a great microwave, does the job and am extremely happy with it.

We’ve had a few microwaves over the years of various brands but this one has impressed straight away by being very efficient, our old one was the same power rating but never as good as this.Didn’t particularly want one with preset menus and took a week of referring to the instructions to get used too but worth it as the results are better, especially the defrost.

Not as good as they were.
Purchased in white. This is my third Sharp microwave (equivalent models). It cooks well but there are signs of cost-cutting which make it difficult to use.Construction is solid but the unit is now shallower which I think contributes to the build up of steam. The plastic carousel insert is now a flimsy circle with wheels that isn’t anchored to the middle of the unit and won’t stay in place. The glass plate now has three bumps on the bottom which are supposed to sit on the axel but come off too easily. Another problem is that the whole unit moves back against the wall when you press the door release as there are no rubber feet.I also agree with the comments about the grey on black lettering which is difficult to see without putting the light on and I’m not a fan of the dark grey interior.

I picked a blue microwave and it was white instead. It’s not high enough to stand a packet of micro rice upright. The microwave is a lot lower than expected

Basic bit does the job
We needed a new microwave after the previous one started making concerning noises. This one is average, quite simple but does the job. The user interface is easy to navigate, it took a little fiddling to set the clock but once done it was working well. I find cleaning this microwave not as easy as I hoped, especially the top part is hard to thoroughly clean which I think is due to the texture of the material used, it seems porous so any food splash or stain is firmly stuck there. The button to open the door is a little too loud for my linking and occasionally gets locked but the microwave is sufficiently functional for our needs
